Description
SEGA 32X
The 32X is a 32-bit add-on for the Sega Mega Drive that allows you to play 32-bit 32X cartridges with enhanced visuals, audio and gameplay.
32x console only!
To use your 32X with your Mega Drive console, you will need the following:
- A patch cable for connecting your Mega Drive AV output to your 32X. You will need to choose the appropriate cable for your Mega Drive 1 or 2 console. Available here.
- an AV cable for connecting your 32X to your TV
- a 32X power supply. So you can buy the linked 32X power supply, buy you can instead consider using our "Tower of Power" multi power supply to connect both your Mega Drive console AND 32X with the one adaptor.
Note: the 32X is designed to function only with a Mega Drive console of the same region. Make sure to use a PAL 32X with a PAL Mega Drive, and a JP/USA 32X with a JP Mega Drive or USA Genesis.
