Nearly all electronics have electrolytic capacitors which have a finite lifespan. When they deterioriate from age, the audio & video quality is generally degraded or may not work at all. Typical symptoms are low volume audio and colours that aren't quite right.
We source all kits from - Console5. Their kits are created by referencing actual production hardware, not from schematics or service manuals. They provide high-quality caps from well known, well established manufacturers, such as Panasonic, Nichicon, Rubycon, and UCC. Our kits meet and frequently exceed OEM requirements, in both voltage and temperature ratings.
