    This is a solder in board which adds RGB video support to the Nintendo 64 console.

    Compatible with all models of Nintendo 64, new or old, PAL or NTSC.



    Works with all Super Nintendo and Gamecube RGB cables as well as RAD2X and HD Retrovision and Retro Gaming Cables.


    At this time of writing March 2024 the N64RGB board is at hardware version 3.0 from eTim.

    • Compatible with all models of Nintendo 64, new or old, PAL or NTSC.
    • Works with all Super Nintendo and Gamecube RGB cables as well as RAD2X and HD Retrovision cables.
    • Outputs RGB or component video (jumper selectable).
    • Resistor video DAC with regulated power supply for low noise.
    • De-blur feature sharpens the video signal.
    • De-blur feature can be toggled with an external switch or enabled via a controller button combination (We put a switch on the rear of the console).
    • In game reset, activiated via a controller button combination.
    • LED data monitor makes it easier to troubleshoot faulty installations.
    NOTE - Some of the later models of Nintendo 64 have a fine pitch DAC chip (MAV-NUS or AVDC-NUS). This requires an extra adapter, so please order this adapter with your RGB board from Tim's shop.



    How does the process work?

    1. Buy your N64 RGB board plus fine pitch DAC adapter from the eTim store
    2. The fine pitch adapter is here
    3. Buy our installation service (this page).
    4. Print our address from the "Print Address" button on screen.
    5. Contact us to let us know which cable you plan to use with this kit so we can set the appropriate settings like RGB or Component. By default we will set it to RGB for use with decent RGB SCART cables like the ones from Retro Gaming Cables
    6. Post in your console and RGB kit to us.
    7. We perform the install.
    8. We post your console back to you with insurance.


     Who pays for postage?

    • You organise postage and ship your console in.
    • We calculate the return postage at checkout and this is how we get it back to you. This is generally on sale, so you will get free return shipping.
